Due to company expansion, we are searching for a top Linux Sysadmin for our web infrastructure. You will be working on a world-class environment , with the latest web technologies in an amazing young and international team in GIRONA. Our main office is located at the center of this city, 5 minutes walk from the train-bus station, 9Km from the airport. You must be fluent in English, since it's our official language. You will be deploying and maintaining a world e-commerce platform in a high availability and high performance architecture. You will be part of the platform design, deployment and maintenance of a high availability platform. Our platforms are based in Linux / MySQL , so it's required a high level of experience in both technologies. Official MySQL Certifications and/or experience in high availability platforms are required. You will design our NIDS , monitoring and alerting systems. You will also be responsible of all the network devices in our platform, based in CISCO hardware. Firewall, Load balancer, switches... You must take responsibility of PCI Compliance for our web sites, and it would be nice if you have experience in ISO 27001 environments. You will design all the code deployment scripts, and you will be part (but not the only) of our 24x7 availability plan. You will define all the procedures related to your department together with the Head of IT. The perfect candidate must have a proactive, easygoing and tolerant attitude, and this is a MUST.
