sanego.de is a leading German, fast growing, health portal with more than 1.2 million visitors per month (Oct 2009). Users can find support by others, search for patients with similar experience, report about conditions, treatments and side effects. They can find and rate doctors and post questions to the community.

PHP and front-end development for a busy, distributed application.

Requirements:

* Completed studies in Computer Science or similar subject
* Experience in object-oriented PHP programming
* Confident (My)SQL usage
* JavaScript, incl. AJAX
* Fluent English

Knowledge in these areas would be a plus:

* Know-how in Doctrine or similar PHP ORM
* Knowledge of a JavaScript framework (e.g. Prototype)
* Prior usage of Sphinx
* German speaking
